2013 International Conference on Active Media Technology 2013 (AMT'13)
October 29-31, 2013, Maebashi, Japan
http://wi-consortium.org/conferences/amtbi13/
Workshop Proposal Due: April 20, 2013 May 27, 2013
Workshop acceptance notification: May 1, 2013 June 1, 2013
-------------------------------------------------------
Active Media Technology (AMT) is a new area of intelligent information
technology and computer science that emphasizes the proactive,
seamless roles of interfaces and systems as well as new media in all
aspects of digital life. An AMT based system offers active and
transparent services to enable the rapid design, implementation and
support of customized solutions.
The AMT'13 workshops/special-sessions will provide an opportunity for
researchers and industry practitioners to share their research results
and practical development experiences on specific challenging and
emerging issues related to active media technology.
The AMT'13 organizing committee is looking forward to your proposals
and contributions to AMT'13 workshops/special-sessions. Of particular
interest are workshop proposals with an interdisciplinary standpoint,
proposals focusing on a specific technology of general interest, or
gathering a sub-community.

Workshop/Special-Session organizers should submit their proposals
electronically through easychair.

Link: https://www.easychair.org/conferences/?conf=amt2013workshopsspec
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Workshop/Special-Session proposals should include the following elements:
- Title of the workshop/special session
- Names of workshop organizers, affiliation, mailing address, e-mail
- A description of the topics of the workshop (approx. 250 words)
- Type of the workshop (full-day or half-day)
- A description of how the workshop will contribute to the field
- A short description on how the workshop will be advertised so as
to ensure a sufficiently wide range of authors and high quality papers
- A list of reviewers for the workshop contributions, and a short outline
of how the review process will be conducted
Note that the paper submission deadline could be later than that of
the main conference, and a workshop/special session should be
scheduled to have sufficient time for generating peer
reviews. Basically, the submitted paper must be 10 pages maximum, and
each paper should receive at least 2 peer reviews.
